"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works."
We serve our community by running blood donor clinics, providing a home for the local food bank, completing income tax returns for seniors and disadvantaged citizens, undertaking community improvement projects such as the Pavilion, and contributing financially where needed for the cause of good.
We foster the children of our community by giving bursaries to high school students, providing bicycle helmets to grade 1 students at eight local elementary schools, and co-sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt. For several years we operated a Haunted Dungeon during the week prior to Halloween.

For several years we have maintained friendship with lodges in Banes, Cuba. In past, we have supported them by providing used regalia and funds to aid in the refurbishing of their buildings. Those buildings were heavily damaged by hurricane Ike in 2008 when the storm came ashore at Banes with 193 km/h (120 mph)winds. With our assistance, those buldings have been repaired. Please view a recent newspaper article about a visit to Banes.
