For many years Thistle Lodge has provided a home for the local food bank, free of charge. In the spring of 2004, a group of handy brethren dismantled the Haunted Dungeon and refurbished part of that area to provide an improved area in which the food bank could operate.
Several brethren also serve as volunteers at the food bank.
