St. George's Lodge was organized under dispensation March 9, 5852 A.L. (1852 A.D.) by the Grand Lodge of England under No. 892 on the Registry of the Grand Lodge of England and No. 34 on the Registry of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Canada West. The original charter from the Grand Lodge of England was surrendered 5857 A.L. (1857 A.D.) and replaced by dispensation from the Ancient Grand Lodge of Canada September 10, 5857 A.L. to July 14, 5858 A.L. The present charter was granted by the Grand Lodge of Canada as No. 41 on its Registry.
Brethren, please note that the Emergent Meeting scheduled for Sept. 16 , 2010 has been moved to Sept. 23 , 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Bro. Bernard Nelson will receive his second degree.
This year the BBQ , on Sat. Oct.2 starting around 2:30 p.m. , sponsored by the "Sat. morning coffee gathering" , will be held at the home of Anna and Bill Inglis. This is on Road 6 and Division St. N. The criteria are that members who have attended the Sat. morning gatherings on a regular basis will be granted two steak dinners. Any other brethren , family and friends etc. are most welcome to attend. These , however , are required to pay $10.00 per plate. Bro. Bill & Anna have graciously allowed us use of their pool and hot-tub , so make sure you bring your swimming gear and towels. Also, anyone wishing to bring a side-dish - salad , dessert etc. - this would be most welcome. It is requested that people bring their own refreshments. See ya there !!
