Look to the Past, Move to the Future

Masonry is steeped in tradition and this is part of what attracts men to our fraternity. Modern times, however, often demand a fast-paced lifestyle and that sometimes causes us to take the expedient route rather than that founded on quality and value. By all means let us move forward but ever bearing in mind the practices that make us the quality gentlemen's order that is our heritage.

As we relight lodges that have been closed during the steamy summer months, let us renew friendships not only among the brethren of our home lodge but also those in neighbouring towns and districts.

Let us also choose to make Masonry better by doing at least one addition thing that we didn't do last year. It doesn't have to be complicated, labour-intensive or high profile. Just one little thing, such as visiting another lodge. Imagine how far we can advance Masonry if every one of us does one thing more.
